There must be loads of people with a life story about riding horses, well here is one about a girl who has been riding a horse since she was 4 years old and is maybe still riding now. Horses come in many colours, such as chestnut, palomino and bay. Here are some more colours about what they look like and how to describe them.


Chestnut- A light brown horse all over.
Bay- A brown horse with a black tail, mane and nose.
Dun- a very, very light brown horse with a black mane and tail.
Piebald- A white horse with black spots (like a cow).
Skewbald- A white horse with brown spots.
White - A white horse with pink skin.
Grey- A white horse with black skin.
Palomino- A very light brown horse with a white mane, tail and nose.
